Having issues with your data?

If your data isn’t working, try these steps in order. Most issues are quick fixes.


1. Confirm your eSIM is installed and active

  • Check in your phone’s SIM/Cellular settings that your travel eSIM is listed and turned ON.
  • Make sure it’s set as the preferred SIM for data.

2. Check roaming settings

  • Ensure Data Roaming is ON for your travel eSIM.
  • Ensure Data Roaming is OFF for your primary SIM.

3. Restart or refresh your connection

  • Toggle Airplane Mode ON and OFF.
  • Restart your phone.

4. Try carrier/network selection

  • Turn off Automatic carrier selection and pick a carrier from the list manually.
  • Try reconnecting — sometimes another local carrier works better.

5. Reinstall the eSIM if needed

  • Go back to My eSIMs → Activation Instructions.
  • Re‑scan the QR code or re‑enter the manual details to reinstall the eSIM.

6. Common pitfalls

  • The wrong SIM is selected as the data line.
  • Data Roaming is OFF on the travel eSIM.
  • Data Roaming is still ON for your primary SIM.
  • You’re in an area with weak coverage — try moving to a different spot.
